○ After the 1st selection in the 1st year of the graduate school in the year 1986, the winning of the Excellence Award in the 2nd Republic of Korea Art Contest in the year 1987, the beginning of the earnest walking as an artist / the development of an opening device (The system for opening and closing on a slope) system for the maxi-mization of the efficiency of the production of the tapestries and the beginning of the education.

○ 1983 Received the 9th Jungang Art Competition Selected Award○ By going on to school in the Department of Fiber Art of the College of Art of the Hongik University in the year 1982 and by going on to study in the Graduate School of Industrial Art in the same university in the year 1986, the classes and the work of art activities had been begun in earnest.
○ After seeing a fiber art work in a national exhibition in the year 1980, the artist had felt that it is the medium of the work of art that the artist wanted to do. And the artist decided to go on to a university.
○ After the military service in the year 1978, the life as a government official for over 9 years and 6 months. During this time period, too, the artist had worked in the day-time and he had studied in the nighttime without throwing away his dream regarding painting.
○ He had been engaged in the activity in the Art Club during his days in the senior high school in the year 1972. In 1975, he won the ‘Star of Jeonbuk’ award in the name of the Superintendent of Education of Jeonbuk, which is given to the students who had the excellent results in the many, nationwide, art practice contests and the students whose academic grades had been excellent.
○ During the art class in the 1st grade at the elementary school in the year 1963, he be-gan art by means of the recommendation by the teacher who had felt that he has the talent after looking at his poster painting.
